Dominica was born outside Paris, where she became a lawyer—and then an ex-lawyer. Opting to “follow her bliss” according to the advice of Joseph Campbell, she made her first pilgrimage to India in 1992 and was forever seduced by the eternal wisdom of Advaita philosophy. A skilled and sensitive photographer, she is drawn to capturing black and white portraits of spiritual masters, of whom she has encountered many. Each portrait appears to her eye as “a window onto the beauty of humanity—an invitation to awaken—a call to live with wisdom and serenity.”
